Birds of Bhutan – Part IX

We finally reached the last leg of our birding tour of Bhutan. We were travelling back to Paro from Tsirang. In this blog post on Birds of Bhutan – Part IX, I will share the small number of birds that we came across as we travelled back to Paro through the same route.

A sudden emptiness engulfed us; we felt purposeless as we ticked off the majority of the birds of Bhutan on our long journey. We did miss a few, but we were not sorry for that—rather, we were content and happy. On our way back, we made fewer stops to look out for birds.

We reached Paro soon. Breaking our routine of the last few days, we left our cameras behind and went out to take in the surrounding beauty. We did not search for any birds then. It seemed our search for the year had ended—and here is the final lot of birds from Birds of Bhutan – Part IX.

With the promise to return, we left Bhutan the next day. Thus, I end my series on Birds of Bhutan.
