Our fifth day in Bhutan began with the soothing, gurgling sound of the Mangde Chhu River flowing just behind our stay. The day was fully dedicated to exploring Tingtibi, one of my favourite birding destinations in Bhutan. With the early morning light, our journey for Birds of Bhutan – Part V began, full of anticipation and excitement.
Rufous-necked hornbill
One of our main goals for Birds of Bhutan – Part V was spotting the magnificent Great Hornbill, but we made sure to enjoy every bird encounter along the way. Tingtibi never disappoints, and this day surprised us with several unexpected sightings that made the experience even more special.
White-throated Bulbul
Without further delay, let me take you straight to the photos and share my bird photography highlights from Birds of Bhutan – Part V.
